JAMMU, Feb 14: Shopkeepers of RS Pura market today held a protest against anti-encroachment drive launched by Municipal Committee, RS Pura in the main market.
According to the reports, a team of RS Pura municipal committee assisted by police today launched an anti-encroachment drive in RS Pura Market and demolished some structures raised illegally on encroached land.
Later, some shopkeepers assembled at Daljit Chowk and staged a peaceful protest for about 15-20 minutes. They raised slogans against the Municipal Committee and later dispersed on their own.
