Project Naily Art Exhibition commences

JAMMU, June 17: Solo Exhibition ‘Project Naily 2012’Art Exhibition commences at Jammu University here form today. The noted theatre director and Regional Director ICCR, Jammu Balwant Thakur inaugurated the solo show of artworks by Jammu based artist from Mumbai, Kanav Gupta at Richen Zangpo Art Gallery, University of Jammu.
Kanav an ex-student of DPS, Jammu and alumni Whistlingwoods, International, Mumbai put on display paintings, publicity design besides featuring of animation films.
Kanaw was among the first eight students to visit Aardman Studio, Bristol, U K and secured three awards for animation films viz-music of life for two times and Banana Bandit for one time.
Kanav did two years course in Whistlingwoods International, Mumbai which is promoted by well known director of Filmdom Subash Ghai and his daughter Meghna Gahi Puri floating it.
Overawed by the unmatched talent of Kanav, Balwant Thakur lauded his artistic endeavours pinned high hope for the bright future of the artist. The three-day exhibition will concluded on June 19. Prominent artists among those who were present included Suresh Sharma, Rohit Verma, K K Gandhi, Rakesh Sharma and Director of the Gallery Prof Anita Billawaria.
