JAMMU, Sept 28: Prof Rajni Kant has been appointed as Director of the Colleges Development Council (CDC), Jammu University while Prof Naresh Padha has been made the Rector of Kathua Campus.
The new appointments were made following the retirement of incumbent Director CDC, Jai Kumar Sharma, who attained the age of superannuation today.
Prof Rajni Kant was earlier holding the charge of Rector Kathua Campus as well as Chief Coordinator Campuses and following his appointment as Director CDC, both of these responsibilities have been assigned to Prof Naresh Padha.
On his retirement from active service, Jai Kumar Sharma has been assigned the task of JU Calendar Updation on temporary basis.
Formal orders in this regard were issued today by the JU Registrar, Dr Meenakshi Kilam.
