Prof Bhagat stages walk-out over model village issue

JAMMU, Apr 2: R S Pura MLA, Prof Gharu Ram Bhagat today staged walk-out in the Legislative Assembly in protest against denial of model village status to Silar village of his constituency.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour in the Legislative Assembly, Prof Bhagat said, “I have been bringing this demand to the notice of Government during the past four years but till date the same has not been considered”.
As there was no response from the Government on his demand, Prof Bhagat staged walk-out.
