Problems of artisans will be sorted out: Soz

SRINAGAR, Apr 24: Former Union Minister and president Pradesh Congress Committee Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz has said that  problems being faced by the artisans and copper workers of Kashmir would be sorted out.
While talking to a group of  members from this trade, the PCC president assured the copper workers  and artisans of Srinagar that Department of Industries and J&K Police would sort out the difficulties in respect of interference in their livelihood by owners of machines that are being used illegally to produce copper utensils in Kashmir.
Prof Soz told the artisans that he was well aware of their issue and had explained their problem to the Minister for Industries  and the high officials of the Police Department that as per the provisions of the Act relating to manufacture of copper utensils, use of machine is strictly prohibited.  He also suggested the delegation members to lodge complaint against the people using machines for manufacturing copper goods.
The Congress leader said that Minister concerned Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo has given him assurance that matter will be take care of and nobody will be allowed to violate the provisions of the Act.
