This refers to the write up “Problem of unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir”. The Government is taking many steps for free and compulsory education among children. But after completing their education in colleges, and universities, they do not find jobs. This is because the education provided does not meet the needs of the market. Having a degree in academics is no guarantee for a job. The Government should press for vocational education. Students who have vocational degrees, usually get jobs. Besides, Government should frame a sound recruitment policy for the State.
