Principals of Jammu Sahodaya Schools hold meet

JAMMU, Feb 17: A meeting of Principals of Jammu Sahodaya Schools was held today at RM Public School, Chowadhi, to discuss the latest CBSE circulars with special focus on assessment criteria of class VI-VIII and IX-X.
In this meet, Principals of Heritage School, DPS Kathua, Bhargava Public School, Springdales School, Rich Harvest, Doon International School, DBN Amarvilla Jammu, Model Academy. Stephans International Public School, DPS Udhampur, SOS Herman Gmeiner School, Indian Public School Kathua and GD Goenka Public School were present among others.
The meet commenced with welcome address by Ravinder Kour, Principal of RM Public School, followed by a brief presentation on the topic “Importance of Comprehensive and Inclusive Education in the today’s society”.
JS Dhami, President Jammu Sahodaya complex presided over the meet.
The main discussion was on the latest CBSE circulars, with special focus on Assessment criteria status of classes VI-VII and IX-X, Regular access of CBSE website for the online filling of class X, internal marks and class XII grades as well as doubt clearing session pertaining to the latest CBSE circulars.
The schools also discussed the status of Sahodaya website as well as formulated the tentative Sahodaya Activity Calendar for 2018-19. The requisition forms were also submitted for procurement of participation certificate for the same.
JS Dhami, President Sahodaya Jammu Complex addressed the gathering before the open house session.
The meeting was concluded by the vote of thanks presented by Rajesh Rathore, PRO, JSSC.
