Prince, Benia emerge joint winners of 86th Jhajjar Kotli Kesari Dangal

KATRA, Apr 17: Wrestler Prince of Amritsar and Benia Min of J&K Police of Udhampur emerged joint winners of the 68th Jhajjar Kotli Kesari Dangal, here today. The final bout remained undecided which was fought in a neck to neck fight for 25 minutes. Fanally, both the wrestlers were jointly presented Rs 31,000 by Rakesh Wazir, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ravi Kumar Baru and Durga Dass Thappa. Ravi Kumar Baru owner of Awadh Travels contributed the prize money as financial assistance to the organizers. For1st malli bout Rakesh Wazir, State general secretary BSP, who was the chief guest on the occasion, also contributed Rs 11,000 as financial assistance. He later-on, distributed prizes among the winner and the runner-up wrestler. Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, Shiv Kumar Sharma, who is also President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association presided over the function. SHO Jhajjar Kotli, Ravinder Singh Jasrotia was the guest of honour, Sarpanch Jhajjar Kotli, Madan Mohan Dubey, general secretary District Reasi Indian Style Wrestling Association, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) and ASI Tilak Raj were also present on the occasion. Dangal was organized by Jhajjar Kotli Dangal Committee in Association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, under the supervision of Mr Sharma and Durga Dass Thappa.
