Prime Venture Partners raises Rs 400 crores in Fund 3

BENGALURU, Mar 7: Prime Venture Partners, an early stage fund, today announced the close of its third fund at Rs 400 crore.
Prime will continue to focus on making concentrated  investments with high conviction and support, maintaining its  deep involvement model, the company said in a release.
It said the key investment sectors which the fund focuses on are Digital India, Fintech/Financial Services, Healthcare, Education, Logistics and Global SaaS solutions.
Founded in 2011, previously, Prime had raised its first fund of USD 8 million in 2012, and a USD 46 million Fund 2 was raised in 2015.
“Digital India is exploding; there has never been a  more exciting time to be an entrepreneur in India. We are privileged to partner with amazing entrepreneurs who are  building some of the most exciting emerging companies in  India,” Prime Venture Partners co-founder & managing partner  Sanjay Swamy said.
