Previous Govts ignored R S Pura: Dr Bhagat

JAMMU, Feb 25: MLA from R.S Pura Constituency, Dr.Gagan Bhagat inaugurated several developmental works in R.S Pura Constituency today.
While addressing the public gatherings Dr. Bhagat informed that the R.S Pura despite being a border Constituency has been ignored by the previous Governments and the people of this area were deprived of several basic amenities. Since the BJP got mandate in the Union Government in the year 2014 and is in coalition with a Kashmir based political party in the State but it is committed to development of all three regions of J&K.
He said as the Border Constituency of R.S Pura which is underdeveloped in every aspect and there is lot to be done so the main objective of the Party is to construct the road infrastructure here. Most roads have been macadamized under the city and town plan (75mm) the remaining will be covered this year, and very soon the R.S Pura Constituency will have hundred percent blacktopped roads,
He said R.S Pura Constituency being a famous tourist spot and visited by a large number of tourists, therefore, it is very necessary to upgrade the existing road to four lane. He said the Coalition Government was committed to create better infrastructural facilities in every nook and corner of the State under a well-knit development program. Dr.Gagan also kick started the up-gradation of lane & drain which would cost Rs 8.50 Lakh at village Gagian under BADP.
He also inaugurated the toilet complex at village Shiv Nagar. He was  apprised of various demands pertaining to the development of the area by the villagers including requirement of community halls in every Panchyat, construction of cremation ground road and its tiling at Miran Sahib. He assured to address all genuine demands on priority.
Earlier,Dr.Gagan Bhagat also attended a public darbaar at Village Tanda in which large number of villagers were present. The MLA  announced that Rupees five Lac from the C.D Fund will be spent on the beautification of the Tanda Village Chowk. He called upon the youth to avail the benefits of the Centrally Sponsored Schemes and through Skill Development they can change their life ,as through the self employment programs they can become job providers rather than job seekers.
