Srinagar, Jan 30: The telecom companies tonight restored the pre-paid internet and data services in Kashmir after remaining closed since July last year.
“With the improvement in the situation, it has been decided to restore internet/data services on the prepaid mobile telephony tonight”, a police spokesman said.
The mobile internet services were withdrawn in Kashmir after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani last year in July. However, the post paid services were restored three months ago after improvement in situation.
