JAMMU, Jan 17: Principal Sessions Judge Kathua Vinod Chatterji Koul today rejected the pre-arrest bail application of Puran Chand, son of Ishar Dass of Lohai Malhar, who was allegedly involved in kidnapping of minor.
After hearing both the sides, court observed, “investigation of the case is going on and the minor girl (prosecutrix) is yet to be recovered”.
“In this case, the offence alleged to have been committed by the petitioner is serious and in such offence, he cannot be allowed to be released on bail in anticipation of his arrest”, the court said while rejecting the bail application.
