Srinagar, Mar 15: Army today said keeping in mind the upcoming recruitment rally of Army in April and in continuation of its efforts to motivate and guide the local youth, a 15-day orientation and counseling capsule was conducted in Devsar Army camp in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A defence spokesman said around 30 youth from Devsar and nearby village attended the capsule. “The scope of the counseling was to orient the youth and provide them with basic information about the recruitment rally which included information like important dates and places related to the recruitment rally, eligibility criteria, conduct and pattern of physical as well as written tests.
“These series of orientation and counseling capsules will be conducted in future also to keep youth motivated to join Indian Army. During the interaction the youth conveyed their confidence and satisfaction to get through in the recruitment,” the defence spokesman added.
