Prayrina to work with Vomedh to promote KP culture

JAMMU, Feb 20: Bollywood celebrity Prayrina Bhat has joined hands with renowned theatre group Vomedh Rangmanch as its brand ambassador to promote the group in India and abroad and will also work with the theatre to promote cultural heritage of Kashmiri Pandit (KP) through stage.
This was stated by Rohit Bhat, Director, Vomedh Rangmanch while interacting with media persons here today.
While talking to media persons, Prayrina Bhat, who is a well known face in Mumbai film circuits as a talented actor said that she is highly impressed by the tremendous work done by the Vomedh Rangmanch in Jammu to preserve the cultural heritage of KP community through their plays, which had won accolades. “I decided to promote the group as its brand ambassador in India and abroad wherever I will go for my film”, she added.
Vomedh Rangmanch is contributing in preserving the KP culture in a big way and is getting support from various organizations, which is evident from yesterday’s mega event of “Sangam” fully supported by KPIT Samith, she said, adding that “I worked with Rohit Bhat in Mumbai and is keen to join Vomedh as an artist also to work in its plays as the group has already made a huge impact on the theatre scene in Jammu and elsewhere”.
Prayrina, who hails from Sarwal has started her career as dancer in Jammu is working in various films and television serials.
Rohit Bhat said that with the support of Prayrina Bhat, the Vomedh Rangmanch would be promoted in a big way all over India and abroad.
“Vomedh Rangmanch would continue to bring new and innovative plays to the audience depicting the real cultural heritage of the Jammu and Kashmir State”, Rohit maintained.
Among others present were Ajay Koul, Organizing Secretary, KPIT, Sanjay Bhat from KPIT, Arvin Tickoo, Vice President, Vomedh, Aryan, Ramesh, Kawal Pessin and Shishank Bhat.
