This has reference to the news item ‘PM calls for increased use of LED bulbs to conserve energy’ DE Jan 6, 2015.
In face of severe power crisis it is quite imperative that necessary measures are taken to save electricity in the country. Use of LED bulbs could be one of them. Without electricity, Indian economy as well as environment could come under severe strain, and may have great repurcussions on the lifestyle of people. In this context, people’s involvement in this initiative is quite necessary. Without people no tangible results could be achieved. The western countries, including America have set themselves on this task. The earlier we get involved in this movement, the better it would be for us in coming times.
Saving electricity should be one of our prime concerns. The Prime Minister is serious about this issue, as the news item indicates, so should be we.
