JAMMU, July 10: District president, BJP Rural, Omi Khajuria today made an appeal to Governor N N Vohra for posting of Commissioner to Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) immediately the post which is lying vacant for last about one week after the transfer of Ramesh Kumar as DC Jammu.
Khajuria in a statement said that development works in the municipal areas of Jammu which represent five Assembly segments of the city are standstill after the transfer of the Commissioner. Hence the new incumbent be immediately posted so that the development of the city areas will not suffer.
