Police shift two pregnant ladies to hospital

Srinagar, Jan 31: Police today said it shifted two pregnant women to hospital in Kargil district of Ladakh Division.
A police spokesman said on January 26, an information was received by Control Room Sankoo that a pregnant woman namely Leela Banoo hailing from Nangma village of Sankoo, a hepatitis patient, is in serious condition and needs to be evacuated to hospital.
“On receiving this information, a team of police and medical staff was sent by SSP Kargil Rahul Malik. The team reached the spot and shifted her to District Hospital Kargil for treatment,” he said.
The police spokesman said on January 27, information was received by police in Sankoo that a pregnant woman namely Sakina Banoo hailing from Chechesna village Sankoo is in serious condition and needs to be shifted to hospital.
“On this information a team was sent with the assistance of medical team. The team reached the spot and shifted her to District Hospital Kargil for treatment,” he added.
