SRINAGAR, Dec 27: Police today recovered a stolen vehicle in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A Police spokesperson said that on December 25, a person lodged a complaint against an unknown person for lifting his vehicle at Bijbihara town. One applicant namely Umar Yousuf Mantoo, son of Mohammad Yousuf Mantoo, resident of Waghama Bijbehara reported in Police Station Bijbehara stating that during 24/25-12-2017 night some unknown persons had stolen his Sumo vehicle bearing registration No JKO3C-9804 along with the documents.
He said after strenuous efforts by the police the vehicle was recovered near the railway crossing of Nowgam in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, a case FIR No 212/2017 under section 379/RPC was registered.
