Police launches massive drive against illegal encroachments

Srinagar, Jan 31: Police in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district today launched a massive drive against illegal encroachments.
A police official said that the traffic mess was resulting in severe difficulties to general public. “All the illegal vendors have been removed from main roads of town by police and more than 30 defaulters booked under different provisions of law,” he said.
Since last couple of days, the police remained deployed at every nook and corner of the town and they are going strict against traffic violators and no person is being allowed to park his vehicle on roadside which causes inconvenience to public movement.
