Police hands over 2 computer sets to Govt school

KISHTWAR, Apr 20: Police handed over two computer sets to a Government school at Sangram Bhatta, here today.
The computer sets worth Rs 1 lakh were handed over to Headmaster of Government High School Sangram Bhatta by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir under Civic Action Programme, (CAP).
On the occasion, Irshad Ahmed, DySP Operations Kishtwar, prominent citizens and staff of the school were present.
While speaking, SSP impressed upon the students that by using these computers they can learn more and gain very useful knowledge. He also said that by organizing these Civic Action Programmes, police try to have close liaison, better relations and coordination with public.
A debate on drug addiction was also organised in the school in which students of school, BEd trainees and teachers delivered their speeches.
Sandeep Wazir and Irshad Ahmed also spoke and stressed upon how drug addiction is harmful for the society and exhorted for not indulging in drug addiction and keep themselves away from this menace.
