PoJK Sharnarthi Forum’s plea to new Governor

JAMMU, Aug 23: All J&K PoJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum has pleaded the new Governor, Satya Pal Malik to address the pending issues of the displaced persons from Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Forum in  a meeting held at Jammu  today under the chairmanship of  Amrik Singh, hoped that the newly appointed  Governor will put his all out efforts to restore  normalcy and congenial atmosphere in the State and ensure better development. It hoped that the  militancy related activities shall be curbed with iron hands. Further the Forum also expects for the early redressal of the grievances related to the PoJK 1947 refugees/displaced persons.
Singh pointed out that Union Ministry of Home Affairs  has already taken this subject matter with J&K Government  for the  early redressal of the problems and   in this regard,  a copy of letter addressed to the Chief Secretary of J&K, has also endorsed to the Forum president.
Further, Forum strongly condemned the gruesome attack on  Manjit Singh GK  president Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and his family member at New York in USA in a Gurdwara Sahib by some goons  which were pre-planted  by  anti-national and anti-social agencies. In this regard, Forum urged upon the US president  Donald Trump to take stern action against such elements and put them behind the bar.
Further, in a resolution the Forum gave full assurance to  Manjit Singh GK and their Management Committee that entire Sikh community is with them and also support their positive and progressive development towards Sikh community and for the entire nation.
Prominent members who spoke in the meeting were – Surjit Singh  General secretary,  Paramjit Singh ex- Corporator , S. Ramnik Singh, Fetch Singh, S.Raja Singh, S. Darbinder Singh all Members DGPC Jammu.  Jaranil Singh Khalsa,   Paramjit Singh Shivgari,  Kuldeep Singh.  Bhupinder Singh, Satnam Singh,  Jagjit Singh,  Bhajan Singh and Gursimran Singh.
