PNB organizes financial literacy awareness camp

JAMMU, Mar 20:  An awareness camp on financial literacy and digital banking  was organized at Nagrota near  Jammu today under the guidance of Bikram Singh Raina, DGM-Circle Head, PNB, J&K Circle.
The proceedings of the programme was conducted by  BL Lotra, Branch Head. PNB Nagrota  (Jammu). A large number of farmers, women, ex-servicemen of the area took part in the camp, who were  made aware by Kali Dass, Financial Literacy Counsellor, PNB regarding Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PMSBY,  PMJJBY,  PM Atal Pension Yojana and  seeding of Aadhar cards in their accounts.
Digital banking products like Debit card, UPI App Bhim,  bank wallets and benefits of net banking were explained for their benefits.
Lotra explained in detail to the participants, the products, deposit and advances and requested the participants  to visit  their branch without any hindrance for their banking needs.
RB Gupta, AGM RBI  Jammu also guided the participants about the different schemes of Govt of India and advised the participants for availing the benefits by linking their Aadhaar  Cards,  mobile numbers.
Dr Syed Namaz Nahin Tabasam Shah, BDO Nagrota was the chief guest. She  counseled the participants to open accounts in the banks to save their hard earned money for future use and also  adopt the digital banking to avail the benefits of  different schemes of  Central and State Government.
