PM’s visit to Kashmir reveals BJP’s concern for people of J&K: Aseem

JAMMU, Oct 24: Maintaining that the present Union Government was much more concerned towards the welfare of the people of the State who have suffered a lot due to 25 year -long turmoil and border skirmishes, BJP State publicity secretary and Prabhari Samba district, Aseem Gupta said that this has been revealed by Prime Minister Narendera Modi’s visit to State who preferred to visit flood victims of Valley to share their pain instead of celebrating Diwali at Union Capital.
In a statement issued here, today, he said ‘It’s for the first time in 67 years of Indian independence when Prime Minister of India showing such solidarity and decided to spend Diwali festival with victims of natural calamity’.
The visit will infuse confidence among the flood hit people of the State as Mr Modi said that entire nation was with them in rebuilding the State.
Mr Gupta said Prime Minister with his visit showed that entire nation shares the pain and agony of flood victims of the State and BJP believes in equal welfare of all people of the country irrespective of their caste, creed religion and region.
He said, Mr Modi has great leadership qualities and the way he handled worst ever flood in Jammu and Kashmir i.e. assessing of ground situation personally, announcing relief funds worth of Rs 2100 cr, immediately pressing Army, Air Force and NDRF into rescue operation is remarkable.
Gupta further said during his few month tenure, it was PM’s fifth visit in the State of Jammu and Kashmir which also revealed that development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir is on PM top agenda.
