JAMMU, Mar 30: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president NS Jamwal.
While speaking, Jamwal demanded special running grade pattern, regularization of all officers, non-vocational status to the Principals, revival of 40 per cent quota at higher education and reorganization of School Education Department.
He appealed to the Education Minister Naeem Akhtar to consider the elevation of lecturers to senior lecturers and senior lecturers to Principals as large number of posts are lying vacant affecting the student. In the meeting it was decided to postpone Annual Lecturers Day in view of Assembly session.
Among others present were Tarsem Singh, Kiranjeet Kour, Deepak Sharma, Romesh Lal Sharma, Anil Sharma, Pardeep Singh Rakwal, etc.
