UDHAMPUR, Mar 13: In its monthly meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma, the district unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum had a threadbare discussion on the various problems and demands pertaining to +2 Cadre.
The demands that were discussed in the meeting include filling up of various vacancies of teaching and non-teaching cadre, enhancement in the grade pay of principals and declaration of their post as non vacational, removal of pay disparity of lecturers in Physical Education, Running Pattern in favour of +2cadre, implementation of Transfer Policy in toto and regularization of all Joint Directors, Chief Education Officers, Principals and lecturers, especially the leftover lecturers in various subjects serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Sharma demanded promotion by DPC in various subjects as also the direct recruitment of lecturers by PSC and the promotion list of Senior Lecturers as Principals to fill all the vacancies of Lecturers and Principals existing in the department.
He also demanded that all the Incharge incumbents in the School Education Department especially the leftover Incharge lecturers in various discplines be regularized at the earliest, grade pay of principals increased at par with their counterparts in KVs and JNVs, 40% promotional quota of +2 lecturers be restored, Directorate of School Education be reorganized and provision of staff quarters in hilly and far flung areas be conceded without any delay.
Sharma also demanded the strict implementation of Transfer Policy in the School Education Department and ban on premature transfers. He also demanded enhancement in the remuneration in the rates of supervisory duties of JKBOSE and establishment of evaluation centres at district level to expedite the process of evaluation.
He further demanded that Question Papers be supplied to the Superintendents of the JKBOSE exams at the examination centres on the pattern of exams conducted by SSRB.
