It is to bring in the notice of the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and the Katra administration that pilgrims visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine are fleeced by the Ponywallas. During bargaining with Ponywallas, it come to the notice that they prefer doing business with people from other states as they can be easily cheated as compared to local ones. The rates they charge from Ban- Ganga to Adh Kunwari are between Rs 600- Rs 800 which are more than notified. Will the concerned wake up to this reality sooner than later ? These unholy acts in a holy place like Vaishno Devi need to be curbed.
