JAMMU, Feb 27: Players showed composure and promise on third day of the State Football Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Ground, here.
Earlier, Shaheen Sports defeated Young Sports Jammu by one goal to nil (1-0), while in the second match DFA Kargil thrashed NGR Club, Jammu by three goals to nil (3-0) via tie-breaker.
In the third match, Jammu United defeated Param FC via tie-breaker by six goals to five (6-5), while in 4th match, Sainik Colony, Jammu defeated DFA Kathua via tie-breaker again by six goals to five (6-5).
In the 5th match played today, DFA Ganderbal defeated DFA Kupwara by one goal to nil (1-0), while in the last match, Musa Football Club, Jammu drubbed Engineers Club Jammu via tie- breaker by (5-3) goals.
