PK embarks on nationwide campaign for homeland

JAMMU, Jan 15: Dr. Ajay Chrungoo chairman Panun Kashmir (PK) said that it is time that P K as a solution to Kashmir problem be recognized as a national imperative and in this direction Panun Kashmir has embarked on a nation wide campaign.
Addressing a meeting of Reception Committee here today in connection with preparations for three day event to be held on January 18, 19 and 20 in connection with Holocaust Day, he said “We are getting a huge responsive from the day we started this campaign under the banner EK BHARAT ABHIYAN – Kashmir KI AUR”,. A large number of representatives from different socio – politico organizations from almost all states and union territories are participating in this event to demonstrate their solidarity with the displaced community, Dr. Ajay informed and asked the members of the meeting to ensure that these guests are taken best possible care during their three day stay at Jammu and they go back to their respective destinations with a clear action oriented perspective.
Addressing the gathering Dr. Agnishekher, while emphasizing the need of organizing such event, said that it has become a critical imperative to take the message of Panun Kashmir to the whole of India in order to create an enlightened public opinion about what has been happening in Jammu and Kashmir for decades now. While appealing the Reception Committee members, Dr. Agnishekher asked them to mobilise all community brethren to make this event a grand success by participating along with friends, relatives and family members. He also appealed to the inmates of Jagti displaced camp to make the mass public rally a grand success by their participation in full numbers scheduled for January 18.
Dr. Agnishekher asked the activists to reach each and every house hold to explain the necessity of EK BHARAT ABHIYAN. He said that January 19 is a day of protest and I appeal every Nationalist to impress upon the Govt. of India to declare this day as National Holocaust day.
He declared that Panun Kashmir will organize a National Event to celebrate the Prakash Utsav in very near future while congratulating the Sikh Community on the 350th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji..
Yuvraj Gupta, a senior leader shared his experiences of 1947 partition and said that those who are witness to these unfortunate happenings know the pain and agony of displacement and the struggle for survival especially when the powers at the helm demonstrate total apathy and neglect.
The meeting among others was addressed by PL Budgami, . Raj Nath Raina and many more. Besides Panun Kashmir activists the meeting was attended by ML Peshin, MK Kaul, B K Dass, T KGanjoo, Shardhanandan Bhat, . J LRaina, . Ramesh Saproo, . Ravinder Gurtoo, . Satish Kaul, . Bansi Lal Bhat, Hira Lal Bhat, Dr. Anila Kaul, Sanjay Pandita and others.
The coordinator of the event Daya Krishan Kaul briefed the members of the arrangements as well as implementation of the event.
