The president of Koushur Samchar-Ahmedabad,  S.K.Bhan was a special invitee in the meeting.  Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo gave a brief of his recent five states tour programme and apprised the members of the political and organizational concerns at the national level.
He said that the three decades of struggle in exile of the KPs has made an indelible mark on the psyche of the nation regarding the crisis in J& K. The nationalist people in the country are concerned about Kashmir and K Ps. The continuous stay of KPs in exile in their own country has created an alarm among the people of country.
The Rohangyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants’ issues plus the Kathua carnage has further taken the message relating to the demographic invasion on the Jammu region to the appropriate levels. There is a strong politico-strategic view to reconsider the options available with the Indian State so far as response to the ongoing situation created by Pakistan and the terror operatives are concerned. There cannot be two opinions about the need to aggressively respond to the Pakistan’s proxy war.
He expressed satisfaction that the J&K Government along with the paramilitary forces has taken a course correction in the Valley recently which will create better results. The biggest issue that is disturbing the conscience of the nation-State is the complete radicalization of the society in Kashmir and Talibanisation of the terror regime. P K welcomed the steps taken by the Union Government regarding the issues of continuous stay of Rohangya and Bangladeshi as a step in the right direction which needs urgent follow up.
Virender Raina in his address said that the demand of Homeland takes care of the issues pertaining to the ethnic cleansing and mass exodus of the community. The GoI will have to take the K Ps into confidence in this regard and exhibit its intent to resettle them in Kashmir on a permanent basis.
