PK appeals community to support homeland struggle

JAMMU, Mar 19: President, Panun Kashmir (PK), Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, today said that P K has been at the forefront of the struggle in exile launched by the displaced community of Kashmir three decades ago.
Addressing the annual Executive Council meeting of Panun Kashmir here today he said PK represents the fountainhead of the aspirations of the Kashmiri Pandit community and as such it gives a special responsibility to the leadership and the cadre of P K to take the struggle in exile to the new heights. “We are conscious of the onerous responsibility that it entails upon us and appeal to the community to support the cause of Panun Kashmir for realization of Homeland as per Margdarshan Resolution”.
He said Panun Kashmir is the only response to the theo-facist struggle in Kashmir and the facade and drama of the so-called freedom struggle stands unmasked with the recent statement of Hizbul chief in Kashmir.
Besides others the meeting was attended by Prof. M.L.Raina, chariman, Political Affairs Committee, Virender Raina, National Spokesperson, PK, Prof. H.L.Jalali, Sr. vice president, Moheni Raina, Chairperson-DOPK, Upinder Kaul, general secretary, Kamal Bagati, organising secretary, Vijay Qazi, N.M.Gadroo, Ravinder Punjabi and the core team of Panun Kashmir Youth comprising Sameer Bhat, Convener Panun Kashmir Youth, Pulkit Chrungoo, Ruskin Bhat and Shashank Kaul. The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Upinder Kaul and Prof. M.L.Raina presented a vote of thanks.
On the occasion, two special guests Munish Sharma and Balbir Ram Rattan, Sr. leaders of BJP, who were recently appointed the vice chairmen of two important undertakings of the J&K State, were honoured. Both the leaders said PK leadership has played a crucial role in furthering the nationalist agenda in the State.
