NEW DELHI, May 13: Pistachio prices edged up by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today following increased buying by retailers and stockists amidst fall in supplies from overseas markets.
Prices of pistachio hairati and peshwari rose by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 1,455-1,505 and Rs 1,555-1,625 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased offtake by retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from overseas markets, mainly pushed up pistachio prices at the dryfruit markets here.

Almond (California) Rs 16,300-16,700, Almond(Gurbandi- new) Rs 12,200-12,300, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,600-5,700; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-23,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 590-600 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-825 per kg. (PTI)
