KATRA, Jan 5: A Vaishno Devi bound pilgrim from Mumbai, died here today due to a cardiac arrest while on way to the shrine.
The deceased has been identified as Satvinder Nath Sahni (79), son of Anant Lal Sahni, a resident of 148-Manohar Park, Mumbai. He was on his way to the cave shrine when he fell unconscious near Ardhkunwari and was shifted to the nearby dispensary.
The doctors declared him as brought dead and termed cardiac arrest as the reason.
