JAMMU, June 15: PHE Workers Welfare Association has resolved to stage protest demonstration in support of employees’ issue on June 27.
In a meeting of the executive members of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Bakshi Singh, president, the members discussed the pending issues of the workers. The speakers criticized the PHE authorities and State Government for the failure to address their pending issues.
They demanded early conduct of DPC of all cadre, release of pending wages of the workers and DA arrears besides salary of the employees for the month of May 2016.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Ratan Doshi, Subash Verma, Manzoor Ali, Chuni Lal, Surjeet Singh, Himmat Kumar, Kuldip Kumar, Kulbhushan Nanda, Ravi Kumar and Puran Chand.
