PHE Employees Association threatens Kaam Chor Hartal

UDHAMPUR, Jan 2: Water Works PHE Employees Association held a meeting at PHE Complex Udhampur, here today under the Chairmanship of Som Nath, senior vice-president PHE Employee Association Jammu Province.
While addressing the meeting, which was also attended by executive body members of district Reasi, Som Nath announced that if the Government does not implement regularization policy and permanent wages head during the ongoing budget session of State Assembly, all the daily wagers in different department i.e. CP workers, Land donors, ITI trained etc will go on Kaam Chor Hartal.
Som Nath also appealed to all the employees and workers of PHE to unite for a struggle and Kaam Chor Hartal if the demands are not fulfilled by the Government before January 10, 2017 in budget session.
He asked the Government to consider genuine demands of PHE Employees Association, which include regularization of workers, release of pending wages, Minimum Wages Act, filling up shortage of staff, change of designation, Department Promotion and 7Th Pay Commission.
Others, who spoke on the occasion, included Vijay Sharma, Rattan Singh, Suraj Parkash, Baldev Raj , Makhan Chand, Jagdish Magotra, Krishan Chand, Chuni Lal, Bhart Singh , Ved Parkash, Chuni Lal, Shamsher Singh, Balveer Singh, Santokh and Prem Nath.
