JAMMU, Sept 26: As a part of nationwide sanitation campaign “Swachhta Hi Sewa”, PHE Department Jammu organized a symposium on “Swacchata Hi Sewa—Ways and Means” at Institution of Engineers, Jammu here today.
On the occasion, Er VN Sharma, Former Administrator Jammu Municipal Corporation and Former Chief Engineer, PWD, Jammu was the chief guest, while Er Ashok Gandotra, Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Jammu presided over the function.
In the symposium, students of various Government educational institutions participated.
Cash prizes alongwith certificates of appreciation were distributed among the winners by the chief guest Er VN Sharma.
Members of Committee to judge the winners, Professors, teachers of various Government educational institutions and officers and officials of PHE Department were present on the occasion.
In the end, the vote of thanks was given by Er Gagan Jyoti, Superintending Engineer, PHE (Mech) Urban Circle, Jammu.
