JAMMU, Sept 27: Combined Postgraduate Department and Government College for Women (GCW) Parade sealed berth into the finals of the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Basketball (Women) Tournament 2017-18, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at its Basketball Court, here.
Now, the two teams will take on each other in the summit clash.
Earlier, in 1st semifinal PG Department got walkover while in 2nd semifinal GCW Parade outplayed GCW Gandhi Nagar by 39-16.
Pratibha Tagotra and Harman Kour were the star performers from GCW Parade scoring 16 and 13 points respectively.
Prof. Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sudesh Bhagat, Suman Lata, Ramesh Singh Jasrotia, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, S. Harinderpal Singh, Jai Bharat and Mulkh Raj.
The matches were officiated by Rohan Kundal, Shubham Sharma, Cheena Mahajan, Abhileen Kour and Kunal Gupta.
The final match will be played tomorrow at 10 am.
