JAMMU, Apr 22: J&K Petrol Tank Owners Association has dissociated itself from the members who claimed to have constituted a self styled welfare committee in the name and style Oil Tank Transporters Welfare Committee.
An emergency meeting of the Petrol Tank Owners Association was held wherein it was informed that the Oil Tank Transporters Welfare Committee by handful of people namely S Ranjit Singh, Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, Davinder Singh Pappi, Sardar Harasis, S Devender Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Sham Lal, Vicky, Amrik Singh, Surinder Singh and Avtar Singh Beera was fake and unregistered.
Some of these persons are not even transporters and have been trying to illegally pressurize the IOCL authorities and State Government for their personal benefits, the Association explained and appealed the Police authorities to register Fir against these persons.
