People voted for CM from Jammu region: Mankotia

UDHAMPUR, Dec 27: Former MLA and president, JKNPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia today said that people of Jammu region voted for change and seeking Chief Minister from Jammu region.
He said that this is first time in the history of J&K that BJP got 25 Assembly seats from Jammu Pradesh and it is now their responsibility to fulfill the aspiration of the people of Jammu region by giving them Chief Minister from Jammu region, adding if BJP failed in this the people of Jammu Pardesh should get ready for separate State for Jammu, which is the ultimate solution to end the discrimination with Jammu region.
Mankotia was addressing thousands of party workers, who were gathered there from different parts of Udhampur constituency.
While addressing party workers, JKNPP president appreciated the role of party workers during recent Assembly elections and thanked all those people of Udhampur who either voted or didnot vote in his favour.
Mankotia said that he will continue his work for the up-liftment of poor and down trodden people of Udhampur district as well as State of J&K.
