People started feeling change on ground: Vibodh

RAJOURI, May 5: Terming 10 months of BJP-PDP coalition as an era of new initiatives, Member Legislative Council and Senior BJP leader Advocate Vibodh Gupta has said that the Government has again been formed on a common agenda of development and people have started feeling change on the ground.
Addressing gathering after kicking off tiling work in Ward No 12 on which Rs 12 lakh has been managed, Vibodh Gupta said that when there is a friendly coalition in the State and backing of powerful Government at Centre, there will be no dearth of funds for development. He said that cordial relations between Centre and State will help a long way in developing all parts of Jammu & Kashmir equally and provide justice to the people.
Appreciating Mehbooba Mufti for carrying forward the agenda of alliance, Gupta said that Government under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti and Dr Nirmal Singh is running smoothly and all the developmental works halted during the past few months have again started up by the popular Government. He said that both the parties have common agenda of development and all measures are being taken to expedite developmental activities.
About beautification of Rajouri, MLC said that he managed Rs 12 lakh for tiling in the Rajouri city which will add the beauty of this town. He said that he has already started many developmental activities in the town and surrounding areas of Rajouri and he is getting marvelous response from the district administration in all developmental activities.  He added that people have started feeling change on ground because officers show response on the directions of popular Government.
He said that cordial relation between bureaucracy and political bosses are also playing great role in carrying forward the developmental activities at next step.
Demanding diversion of tourists to Rajouri, Vibodh said that Rajouri has remained tourist attraction from centuries and Government must concentrate on tourism potential of the area.
