POONCH, Mar 30: The people from Bafliaz and several adjoining villages of Surankote today held strong protest against the Administration for denial of Aadhar Card facilities to them.
The people started protest at around 12.15 pm and continued till 2 pm. They alleged that recently an office was opened by the District Administration at Bafliaz for generating Adhar Cards of the public but it mostly remains closed. Today also it was locked up to 2 pm. After waiting for long, the people launched protest there.
SDPO, Surankote reached there and pacified the agitating people. He also spoke to the SDM Surankote. Later, the officials concerned also reached the office around 2 pm. They were issued warning by the SDPO and concerned SDM. Then the normal work in the office started. The movement of vehicles remained disrupted for about two hours.
