People protest over shifting of Bus Stand

Excelsior Correspondent
BHADERWAH, July 28: Senior citizens along with locals, shopkeepers and drivers of mini buses today staged a protest at Pasri Adda against the local administration for shifting Bus Stand from Pasri Adda.
At about 9.30 AM, a large number of shopkeepers, drivers and conductors of mini-buses and local people assembled at Pasri Adda and started raising slogans against the administration for passing a order of shifting of Bus Stand from Pasri Adda and Seri Bazar to new Bus Stand near Kotli Village.
They alleged that shifting of bus stand from Pasri Adda to new location is a wrong decision and local people are facing many problems due to this decision, as they are forced to walk by foot from new Bus Stand to town. Protestors were demanding at least two mini-buses, one each for Doda and Bhalla from Pasri Adda.
Later, Naib Tehsildar Bhaderwah reached the spot and arranged a meeting of protestors with SDM Bhaderwah, after whose assurances they agreed to suspend their protest.
