People protest against attachment of Gandoh-Bhallesa with ADC Bhaderwah

DODA, Nov 6: All Party United Front Gandoh-Bhallesa held a protest against the Government for attaching Sub Division Gandoh-Bhallesa with ADC Bhaderwah.
During protest at Sub Division Headquarters Gandoh, the shopkeepers from bus stand Gandoh and adjoining areas closed down their business establishment and raised slogans against the Government.
The protest was held under the chairmanship of its President of the United Front Mohammad Hanif Malik.
The protesters said that attaching Gandoh and Bhallesa with ADC Bhaderwah is grave injustice with them. They said that a resident of Bhallesa after traveling around 100 kilometers will reach Bhaderwah to get his or her work done by crossing the district headquarter Doda which is only 66 kilometers away from Bhallesa.
“The Government should immediately roll back the said decision of attachment otherwise we will intensify our protest and for any untoward incident, the Government will be responsible”, they warned.
United Front leaders Riyaz Ahmed Zargar while talking to media persons demanded for immediate roll back of the attachment decision terming the attachment decision as injustice with the people of Gandoh and Bhallesa.
Liyaqet Ali Sheikh, Ex-Sarpanch said the decision taken by the Government is totally wrong and should be rolled back for the convenience of lakhs of people residing in Gandoh and Bhallesa.
Among others present were Mohammad Younis Malik, Musrat Naik, Choudhary Noor Hussain, Bal Krishan, Bodh Raj, Altaf Malik, Mustaq Zargar, Irfan Nadvie and Mol Raj.
