SAMBA, Mar 5: Vinod Kumar Sharma president youth Congress today led a protest at Bus Stand Samba against the PWD authorities for their failure in renovation of roads in Ward 6,7,8 and 10.
Addressing the protestors Mr Sharma said that despite the repeated pleas to the concerned authorities they failed to restore the roads with the result the people were put to many hardships.
These roads have become death traps but the authorities are taking no pains in renovation of the same.
He warned to intensify agitation in case immediate steps were not taken to repair the roads as there is a lot of public resentment for the same. The Youth Congress leader in an appeal to Minister of PWD Abdul Majid Wani sought his immediate intervention in the matter.
