KISHTWAR, Feb 7: PCC chief, Ghulam Ahmed Mir has said that the misrule and mis-governance of PDP-BJP has caused great resentment and anger amongst the people of all three regions of the State and people are totally disillusioned and fed up from the present dispensation.
He said that policies of Centre and the State Government and their total failure to deliver have caused total disillusionment amongst the people who would bring about change as and when they get the opportunity. The people are so fed up that they want this Government to go sooner than later.
“The common people are finding hard to make both ends meet because of wrong economic policies of the Centre and the State Government and the youth are deprived of opportunities in Government and private sectors. He questioned the policy of Modi Government towards Kashmir and neighbours like Pakistan and China and termed it total failure. “The borders have all along seen worst even tension and casualties while the internal situation in Kashmir has witnessed worst kind of violence. Situation of borders continues to be grim while increasing number of youth have joined militancy during this period”, he added.
The PCC chief said, “Government is not visible on ground and the law and order situation has been worst during the past over three years. The people are deprived of their basic rights and facilities, youth without jobs and development activities are lop sided neglecting the more deserving areas. This has reflected a dark picture of the performance of the present State and Centre Government”.
PCC chief lashed out at the opportunist politics of certain parties for the vested interests which has widened the gap between regions and communities. “The Congress is guarantees for maintaining the social and secular fabric of this State”, he added.
