KATHUA, Sept 20: The residents of Krishna Colony Kathua held a protest demonstration against the opening of a wine shop in their locality on second consecutive day today.

The local residents including women in large number raised slogans against the Excise and Taxation Department and for giving NOC to the owner for opening of wine shop. Women protesters Pooja Devi and Kamal Kumari strongly condemned the opening of wine shop and promotion of narcotics and drugs in their area by the Government.
They warned the Government to withdraw the decision otherwise mass scale protest would be launched against the Government. The woman warned the Excise Department to cancel the opening of wine shop as our families lives may spoiled due to promotion of drugs selling in populated locality.
