RAMBAN, Feb 27: A delegation of prominent locals today called on new SSP Ramban, Mohan Lal and apprised him of the various issues like drug menace, traffic regulation, eve teasing, crime against women and some other matters relating to Police and Civil administration.
Representatives of Bar Association , Beopar Mandal, heads of religious bodies , social workers , NGOs, Panchs, Sarpanchs and office bearers of different political parties, comprised the delegation, which also assured all possible help to the new SSP in maintaining tradition of communal harmony in the district besides taking on anti-nationals to the task.
The SSP Ramban gave a patient hearing to the people and assured that he would leave no stone unturned to eradicate the crime from the society. He ensured safe and secure environment for the inhabitants of the district with the moto of protecting life, property and dignity of the citizens. He further said that Police Women Investigation Cell has been constituted in the district to check crime against women.
Addl SP Ramban, Mushtaq Choudhary. DySP Hq Ramban and SHO Ramban were also present on the occasion.
