Pensioners demand hike in Medical Allowance

KATHUA, June 4: Pensioners Welfare Association, district Kathua in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Dalser Singh its general secretary has demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month in favour of State Government employees and pensioners.
The demand was made by district president, Amarnath Dogra , district president. He also urged the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti to issue orders for revision family of pension in favour of pensioners from January 1, 2016 onwards.
Tara Singh chief advisor of the Association urged the Mehbooba Government to issue orders for the abolishment of interviews for the non gazetted posts as the same has been implemented by 20 states of the country.
