Peas moves up on uptick in demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 11: In restricted activity, peas prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on pick up in demand from retailers.
However, other pulses traded in a narrow range in scattered deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said pick up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,700-2,725 and Rs 2,900-3,000 per quintal, respectively.
