PDP protests against delay in relief

RAJOURI,  Sept 18: A large number of PDP activists and people from Darhal, Kotranka and other  parts today held protest demonstration against the Administration for not providing relief to the rain and flood affected victims.
A large number of PDP workers and residents from Kotranka, Darhal and Rajouri led by senior district party leaders, Ch Qamar and Tazeem Dar assembled  in the DC office complex here and started protest demonstration.  They alleged that many days have lapsed after their houses were damaged but majority of the victims are still without relief. The Revenue officials are claiming that they were making lists but the affected people need help at this time of crisis. It is no fun to provide relief after 15 days.
They shouted slogans against  State Government, Chief Minister   and even the District Administration. The agitating people  alleged that many have turned homeless and taking shelter in the open They have not been provided tents and blankets. Ration provided is also inadequate. Later, a memorandum was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner.
