PDP leader dies of cardiac arrest at Jammu hospital

KISHTWAR, Feb 22: A senior People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader died of cardiac arrest at GMC Hospital Jammu today.
The 45 year old Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Hudri (Kishtwar) was district vice president of the party and was active in politics for last over a decade. Mushtaq Ahmed passed away in GMC hospital, Jammu today due to cardiac arrest.
He had suffered massive heart attack at his residence and was shifted to Kishtwar hospital from where he was referred to Jammu. However, he suffered another attack at Doda, while on way to Jammu, and was airlifted to Jammu on State helicopter.
He was attended by a team of doctors at GMC Hospital. However, he breathed his last in the evening. His Nimaz-e-Jenazah will be offered at Kishtwar tomorrow noon.
